She was born on January 27, 1931 in the Bronx to George and Lillian Bauman and was resident of Rockland County for 49 years. Lillian was a devout parishioner and secretary of the Our Lady of the Sacred Heart Church in Tappan and Dominican College in Orangeburg. Billy was born in Brooklyn, NY, and lived much of his childhood in County Donegal in Ireland. An 11-year veteran of the New York City Fire Department, he served with Engine 88 / Ladder 38 in the Belmont section of the Bronx.
He was a devoted father to his son, Peter Simonelli and his wife Hannah of Palisades, NY. He was a loving Bubba to his five grandsons, Alex and Dylan Wisnewski, Joseph, Jack and Lucas Simonelli. He also leaves behind three step children, Fred and Jeanette Ramos of Tappan and Sesi, and Robin Ramos. He is survived by his wife, Patty Gloeckler of Tappan, and his beloved children, P.J. Lionel Leibesberger passed away peacefully on January 29, 2015 surrounded by family at his bedside.

He was a truck driver for over 20 years and was employed by the Teamster Union Local No. 445 in Stony Point. During the Korean War, Joseph served in the US Army and was honorably discharged. Born in New York City on Mar. 6, 1919, he graduated from Bryant High School in Long Island City, where his claim to fame was his star power on the basketball court. After high school, Peter was drafted and proudly defended our country in World War ll earning several medals of honor. After the war, he married his sweetheart, Rose Fea, and they eventually shared a two family home with his sister-in-law, Nancy, and her husband, Roy, in Beechhurst, NY. Angela M. Hardy, a resident of Piermont, died in Texas on August 18, 2009 after a long illness.
Sue was raised in Hoboken and later moved to Carlstadt NJ where she graduated from Becton Regional High School. She went on to complete Bergen Pines Nursing Program and later received her BSN from Dominican College. She worked as a nurse in many different capacities at Passaic General Hospital and Nyack Hospital. She also had been an adjunct professor at Rockland Community College.

Mary Neusch (nee O’Connell), 74, of Closter passed away on Wednesday, Dec. 31st,2014. Mary was born in West Orange, NJ in 1940 and grew up in Kearny, NJ. Mary graduated Queen of Peace High School in 1958 and St. Mary’s Nursing School of West Orange in 1961. Mary was an active member and volunteer for St. Mary’s Church in Closter and served on the Closter Board of Health for several years. Lillian McGee, a longtime resident of Tappan, passed away peacefully at home on January 5, 2015.

Frank retired from M&T Bank, having worked as an Information Technology professional for more than 15 years. Army veteran serving in the 101st Airborne during Vietnam. He enjoyed ten pin bowling and once rolled a perfect game. He enjoyed fishing, was an avid reader, and was a fan of the Orioles and Ravens.
After retiring Denis began a second career as a Royalty Representative at Pearson Education where he worked for a further 15 years. She attended schools in North Tarrytown and later worked in the accounting department of General Motors Corporation. He defined "father." He was both all guts, and all heart. A Mass of Christian burial was held at Sacred Heart Chapel in Sparkill followed by a burial at St. John's Cemetery in Middle Village, NY. Visiting hours were at the Moritz Funeral Home in Tappan. A Funeral Mass took place at Our Lady of the Sacred Heart Church in Tappan followed by burial at Rockland Cemetery, Sparkill, NY.
August Nothdurft, a resident of Norwood for 53 years, passed away October 9, 2014. Visiting hours were at the Moritz Funeral Home in Closter. A Funeral Service was held at the Moritz Funeral Home. Donations to the Norwood American Legion, 480 Broadway, Norwood, NJ 07648.
Joseph was a graduate of Theodore Roosevelt High School in the Bronx. After graduating he served in the United States Navy during World War II. Joseph started his career with NYPD at the 41st Precinct and retired as Detective in the Major Case Squad in 1973. He is survived by his children, Joseph Jr., Gerald, John, Eileen, and Frances.
